 With
shared vision of making music which appeals to all ages, veteran
saxophonist Virgil Scott created the Virgil Scott Swing
Band, a new style 17-piece big band for listening and dancing
pleasure. Their unique concept of using a "band within a
band" provides a versatile repertoire which includes modern
arrangements of popular standards, jazz and rock classics. Featured
are the song styles of Greg Wilder. The band is presently
performing concerts, playing clubs, corporate and private functions,
and providing accompaniment for Broadway Shows and performing
their Original Production of "Mostly Sinatra" staring
Greg Wilder.
